Dear Students;

The decisions taken by the internship commission and the department board regarding the internship/workplace training practices that are mandatory in our department within the scope of the pandemic period measures are as follows:

Decision 1: Students who want to do internship can start their internship with 28.06.2021 following the completion of the 2020-2021 Spring semester final exams. Students who meet their internship condutions can do their internship in an appropriate public or private sector in accordance within the Biology Department internship directive. However, in addition to the documents these students need to prepare, students are required to submit the Consent Statement Form stating their consent declaration to the Department Head and student affairs before starting the internship, as stated in the decision taken by the Gazi University Senate on 04.06.2020 during the pandemic period.

Decision 2: Students who meet their internship condutions for the 2018-2019 academic year or before can do their internships via distance education, provided that it is limited to the pandemic period. These students will be able to carry out their studies as distance education (online) with an assignment subject to be determined by the department internship commission by applying for internship to the department. The internship report to be prepared as a result of the study will be submitted to the department chair.

Decision 3: Provided that it is limited to the pandemic period, no module distinction will be made for students who will do face-to-face internship / workplace training.

Decision 4: Due to the pandemic, it was not appropriate to accept students for face-to-face internship training in our department.
